We will travel to the west of San Pedro de Atacama to meet the Cordillera de Domeyko, a spectacular formation that lives parallel to the Andes. First we will visit the sector of Yerba Buenas, of great historical relevance for its rock art, as it has one of the most important groups of petroglyphs in the region. The tour will transport us to the time of the indigenous caravans, adding historical and cultural value to the experience. Then, and when crossing Matancilla, a sector rich in flora and fauna, we will meet the Rainbow Valley, named for the variety of shades that can be seen in the surrounding hills: colors Earth, reddish, brown, green, white and yellow, which combined with white salts and blue sky, make up a unique site. After a short hike, we will visit the town of Río Grande, named after the course of water that accompanies it. There we will enjoy the tranquility of this frozen village in time, with its well-preserved colonial architecture.
